Do you have sufficient education for accurately defining education?

What is your clarification of education? What have been your reasons for desiring which your clarification of preparation is educated?

    Learning should be a lifelong process, so the most vital purpose of education is to become accustomed to the learning and problem-solving process. As a scientist, I often used to wonder what purpose it served to require me to take electives in the social sciences and other liberal arts subjects. But, as I grew older and started to see the benefits of literacy in a broad range of subjects, I could appreciate the wisdom behind what I once saw as mere distractions.
