How can I get a job in special education ?

Im already in college as an art major, a the second week. But we only straight away motionless we wish to learn in special education. How can we soak up art(digital arts) with special ed. What education would we need?

It depends on your state.
Many states require a Master’s degree in Education for special education teachers. There is also frequently a small “kicker” in terms of salary. Which when you are talking about teachers, could be as small as $400 a year… Nobody gets into teaching to make a profit.
In nearly every state, you need a 4-year degree to teach elementary or secondary school. In about 20 states, your degree must be in Childhood Education to get your license.
How you work Art into a special education program is up to the school you ultimately work at, but special ed is certainly does not preclude art. All kids need to learn and art is one of the best forms of expression for people with atypical communication skills. If this really interests you, you may consider becoming a researcher instead of a teacher (PhD in Education / Art / Psychology).
