If a university education is too liberal, why don’t more conservatives become professors?

Because in order to do that, they’d have to get an EDUCATION.
Because free thinking is a threat to faith, and fundamentalist thinking. You can expand your mind and hold on to ancient thinking at the same time.

The people doing the hiring are, as you know, are ultra-left wing socialists so no conservative gets hired. Simple?
The education system in colleges brainwash the students to be liberals. Im sure Soros got them the jobs to ruin America, thats how much money and power he has. The radical left has a Terrorist like Bill Ayers teaching kids radical bs- and Bill Ayers had 3,000 professors from other colleges sign a petition protecting him. Thats scary. Ayers wifey Dorhn was on the FBI most wanted list as most perilous women in the world at one time, and Obama and Michelle hung out with those people and WORKED WITH THEM! ALOT. .

Universities discriminate against morons.

There are a lot of conservative and libertarian professors, I’ve had a few myself.
The reason there appears more is because the leftists are more vocal and bully people into taking their position.
The liberal university presidents will not let them.
There are a lot of very conservative professors, especially in political science. The conservative professors tend to explore both sides of the issues and play the “devil’s advocate”.
Liberal professors just spout their ideology.
Conservatives are too busy really doing the jobs they are educated for. Intellectual elites have always been liberals for the most part.
Those can do, those who can’t teach.
Where I went to school most of the professors were conservative.
Oh, they are out there. Trust me. I work in Academia. The pendulum is swinging back towards the right, slowly but surely.
It is simply a hard road to follow because if you are conservative in your politics and you let people know, you will not get that position you are most qualified for, and the rumor mill will grind and yes, you can even loose your job. I have seen it happen many, many times.
These “tolerant” Liberals in Academia are the most cut throat bunch of nasty, vicious people you will ever meet. Politics in the world of higher education is alive and well. They lie and cheat and backstab not only those who have different political views, but each other as well. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
Those who can, do. Those that can’t, teach. That is why liberals teach son. Wake up.
Because tenure is hard to come by if you are not a butt kissing lib.
And a non-tenure teaching position is ill paid and has no benefits.
Conservatives, moderates and nonfollower liberals have a hard time advancing at the university level.
Universities frown on free thinkers, you have to be a follower.
Left wing controls the unis.
