Is it possible to file a student loan deduction even if I did not get a 1098E form?

I did not know which my bank from where we took the tyro loan from compulsory me to fill out the form for them to emanate the 1098E. we longed for the deadline though they did send me an email with the volume of seductiveness we had paid. Is which enough? Or am we not authorised to inform it as the reduction given the some-more than $2000. Thanks
